Uxbridge has long awaited the arrival of a decent sports complex with proper facilities. Uxbridge lido has had a turbulent existence but with some serious investment, this time we should see a shiny new pool, clean with top facilities.

Some of the past plans and links to Hillingdon Council are now dead so we aim to restore as much of the information about the plans of this development.

Uxbridge lido is a refurbished multi-million pound swimming and leisure complex with an Olympic-sized training pool.

Hillingdon has funded the 25-metre indoor pool, sports hall and fitness centre. The complex is built next to the 1930's Uxbridge open air pool, also being refurbished, a grade 11 listed building.
